TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SERVICE OF BUS RENTAL WITH DRIVER

 

SUBJECT OF THE SERVICE

The bus rental service from the bus depot with a chauffeur is carried out by CALANDA REISEN with the company's own buses or with an equivalent vehicle from a third-party company.

All vehicles used are:

e)     _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_in possession of a regular vehicle registration document;

f)     _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_Licensed to the Commercial Provisions;

g)     _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_equipped with regularly overhauled tachographs;

h)     nach den geltenden Bestimmungen jährlich geprüft.

The vehicles also have an appropriate capacity in relation to the number of passengers and show a perfect efficiency in terms of mechanics. This is confirmed by the relevant documents of the annual vehicle inspections carried out by the motor vehicle inspection.

All vehicles have insurance coverage required by law.

The vehicles are driven exclusively by drivers who are in possession of a driver's license required by law.

 

QUOTATIONS AND CONFIRMATIONS

The cost estimate will be confirmed by CALANDA REISEN if the following deadlines are met:

·      _cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Deposit of 30% of the amount at the time of reservation.

·      _cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Balance due 15 days before departure day

·      _cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_unless otherwise agreed in the estimate.

All relevant data for the requested service and the necessary information for invoicing must be provided with the confirmation.

For a service lasting several days, a copy of the detailed travel program must also be supplied.

If the estimate is not confirmed within the specified deadlines, it will be forfeited and release CALANDA REISEN from any obligation. The estimate does not include options or reservations. 

 

OPTING OUT OF CONFIRMED SERVICES

Cancellation of confirmed services must be sent to CALANDA REISEN in writing.

The customer will not be charged if the cancellation of a confirmed service is made at least 30 working days before the scheduled departure date.

If the customer waives a confirmed service, the following regulations apply to invoicing:

  • 30 to 22 days before departure 10% of the estimate

  • 21 to 15 days before departure 20% of the cost estimate

  • 14 to 8 days before departure 40% of the cost estimate

  • 7 to 0 days before departure 80% of the cost estimate

 

BILL

The invoice will be issued by CALANDA REISEN at the moment the balance is paid.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

The customer assumes responsibility for any damage caused to the bus during the rental period. 

 

RESPONSIBILITY CALANDA REISEN

Calanda Reisen is not responsible for delays or missed connections due to causes not attributable to the company and generally beyond its control (such as strikes, bad weather, mechanical breakdowns, traffic, road conditions, checks by the competent authorities, unforeseeable circumstances and Force majeure).

Calanda Reisen assumes no responsibility for any damage caused to the luggage or other objects of the travelers or for theft or other loss of their luggage.​

 

DRIVING LESSONS

The customer is aware of which regulations apply to the driving hours and rest periods of the chauffeur. If requested by him, CALANDA REISEN can transmit this information.

 

TIPS

A tip for particularly courteous care is always welcome. Gratuities for the chauffeur are not included in our prices.

 

PLACE OF JURISDICTION

Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Chur. Swiss law is applicable.
